Electrical Technician Jobs

Performvariety of highly skilled tasks and deeply involved in the monitoring, inspection, diagnosis, and troubleshooting on electrical equipment, maintenance, repair, and servicing on field and workshop equipment, components, facilities, Safety Critical Equipment, and machinery associated within the production of LNG. Analyze and mitigate hazard to execute job safely compile it into JHA, adhere and familiar with PTW system with very high safety standard.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review the Shutdown Job pack and Routine Job in related with material needs, manpower usage and time frame and also execution in coordination with supervisor and maintenance planer. Understand and implement safety policy and procedures in shutdown preparation
• Safely execute in hazardous and explosive area installation, maintenance, shutdown maintenance and repair of electrical equipment and process control apparatus used in the production, treatment, storage and distribution in agreement with DSLNG electrical maintenance policy & procedures to ensure production process is running well.
• Analyze the root cause of malfunction or failure of electrical complex equipment and perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure the reliability of the equipment. Propose input and recommend strategy or methodology to prevent and solving repetitive failure occur in electrical equipment
• Perform critical function testing of Safety Critical Equipment (SCE) following all procedures and applicable work instructions. As found and as left condition shall be stated along with any pass/fail test results applicable to the SCE task. And also create report and data list of the activities above.
• Analyze and identify hazard in maintenance job execution anddetermine mitigation of the hazard to establish Job Hazard Analysis ( JHA) that attached in Permit To Work ( PTW)

Qualifications

• Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering
• Familiar with PTW system, SPO system and CMMS
• Preferably have COMPEX and BNSP / LSP Migas certification as electrical technicians
• Minimum 5 years experience in electrical maintenance in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry
• Have a strong experience to perform Preventive, Predictive and Corrective (damage) maintenance on complex electrical equipment
