Are you ready to be a part of MIFX for the upcoming “big wave”?

What you will do:

An Economist will work under the Research Department within the Product Team to produce macroeconomic/FX Market reports, in hope to strengthen our offering in helping clients towards achieving their financial goals in the FX market, and be able to generate high-quality ideas on a daily basis for our clients to trade with. We are looking for an Economist that will help us in establishing MIFX as the leading house when it comes to helping people navigate the currently under-tapped FX market in Indonesia.

1. Work closely with PM in researching, planning, and executing our offerings for multiple funnels that we have
2. Producing high-quality macroeconomic/FX Market reports, both in written and verbal
3. Maintaining product vision and objectives in alignment with company goals
4. Work closely with PM in managing Product KPIs, Key Metrics, Reporting, and feedback
5. Work closely with other divisions within the Product Team to ensure Product success

What you will need:

1. Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or any other related subject
2. 2+ years of experience as an Economist, Fixed Income Analyst, Equity Analyst (preferably with banking industry as main coverage), or Investment Manager in a financial institution, preferably non-bank financial institutions
3. Deep understanding on the concepts of macroeconomics and financial market, especially FX & Commodity market
4. Understanding of technical analysis, both of classical and modern technical analysis
5. 1+ year of personal trading experience in stock or FX market is a plus
6. International certification such as CFA, CMT, or CFTe is a plus
7. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use creative approaches to provide solutions through data
8. Excellent organizational, influencing, and presentation skills
9. Ability to speak and write in English and Indonesian fluently
