Design Research Intern Jobs

Role Description:

As a Design Research Intern, you will embark on an exciting journey in the intersection of design, research and strategy. Your mission will revolve around unraveling the whys in users behavior, assisting our testing process, and connecting the dots between different type of data points for our internal projects.

Your responsibilities are, but not limited to:

🔎 Conduct secondary research and analysisto help form understanding on several subject matters for our client and internal projects. You will be working hand-in-hand with our researchers in forming solid building blocks of understanding the issues of our projects!

🗣️ Dive deep into interviews and qualitative data, employing your analytical skills to extract valuable insights and patterns. Uncover the hidden gems that will shape our product strategies and enhance the user experience.

🤝🏻 Engage with our internal team and research intervieweesin a professional and empathetic manner. Listen attentively, ask probing questions, and build rapport to ensure a comfortable and productive dialogue. Your excellent communication skills will be essential in gathering valuable information.

📝 Crafting clear, concise, and compelling research reports.Present your findings in a way that is engaging, impactful, and easily understood by various stakeholders.

We are looking for people who are/have:

🎓 Currentlystudying/graduated from a major in Design, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field. Your knowledge of human behavior and social sciences will provide a solid foundation for understanding user needs and motivations.

💡 Having prior design knowledge is a plus point!

🔍 Possess a strong understanding ofqualitative analysis methodologies and techniques.Familiarity with coding and categorizing data will enable you to extract meaningful insights efficiently.

📊 Havingdata analysis knowledge and quantitative researchexperience are plus points!

✍🏻 Previousexperience in transcribing and analyzing verbatim datawill be advantageous. This skill demonstrates your attention to detail and ability to capture nuanced information accurately.

💬 Demonstrateexceptional proficiency in both written and spoken English.Your ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively will be crucial in conveying your research findings and recommendations!
