About The Role
The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) is a function within GIF where the objective is to support GIF in realising it’s vision to become a data-driven organisation. The MEAL team uses frameworks such as the Theory of Change to measure the impact created from GIF’s programs. Currently, the focus is to develop a platform and a set of processes to ensure seamless and accurate impact data collection and analysis.
You will work directly with the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) team as well as liaising with the programs team. You will play a role in creating data visualisations in the form of dashboards to be used by the programs team, maintaining the integrity of data within each program database, as well as assisting in deriving actionable insights from the data. Your role will be crucial for the GIF programs team to learn and iterate accordingly based on the data to create maximum impact.
What You Will Do

• Data Management: Assist the programs team in maintaining the program database to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data
• Data Visualization: Assist the MEAL team in the development of Google Data Studio (Looker Studio) dashboards for all GIF programs, in which you will work closely with the programs team through continuous brainstorming, feedback gathering and iteration
• Insights Derivation and Learning: Assist the MEAL and programs team in deriving insights from the data, and turning it into actionable solutions for program iteration

What You Will Need

• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel (ability to process data using basic excel formula e.g. VLOOKUP, PIVOT, COUNTIF)
• Final year student or fresh graduate. We welcome students/graduates from any major, however experience in working with quantitative data (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, or IT-related) is a plus point
• Experience working in a cross-functional team and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read, decipher and interpret a high volume of data
• Strong analytical skills and a knack for problem solving
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Experience in Google Data Studio (Looker Studio) is preferable
• Passionate about creating social impact and the prospects of working in a dynamic non-profit organisation
