Data Analyst (Indonesia) Jobs

You will advocate data-fuelled products that help our customers to make data-driven decisions. You will provide insight using leading analytic practices and ultimately produce new and creative analytic solutions that will become part of our core products. You’ll be involved heavily on digital datasets that help the customers with the digital transformation and growth.

Responsibilities

• You will work with cross-functional team members internally as well as external customers to identify and prioritize actionable, high-impact problems and needs across a variety of core business areas.
• You will also spend time on-site with the external customers to gather first-hand information about the problems, discuss data-related questions, perform analysis, and communicate findings.
• You will participate in building models that helps to address business problems.
• You will analyze diverse sources of data to find insights and achieve targeted outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience with data visualization, dashboards, and reports
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• 1+ year experience in a role where (s)he needed to present results (for client or external team) : client facing/ external project delivery team
• Bachelors in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Math, Stats, Engineering, Physics, etc.)
• Eager to learn new languages and tools when needed
• Location in Indonesia, preferably Jakarta
• 2+ years experience as data analyst (internship, BI reporting role doesn’t count in case when it doesn’t come with data analyst exp. Like X years BI reporting + y years analyst)
• Statistical intuition and knowledge of various analytical approaches
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Graduated at least 3+ years ago
• 2+ year working experience with SQL (on the university/ online courses/ own projects at coursera, Microsoft etc. certificates doesn’t count), experience needs to be at a real paid job
• Ability to interpret the data and extract business insights and action items
• Great oral and written communication skills in Bahasa (native) and English (mid level at least)
• Strong desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment

MUST HAVE TOOLS

• Any Dashboard tool: (for example Tableau, Google Data studio)
• Excel (functions)
• SQL (Oracle, mySQL)
• Power point

NICE TO HAVE

• Proficiency in statistical model development including data cleaning, model building and model performance testing
• Familiarity with a cloud computing platforms such as Amazon AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• Familiar with Python
• Familiar with BigQuery and/or HIVE and/or Impala, Spark
• Master’s degree in a quantitative field
