We are from Vasanta Group and currently looking for a 'Corporate Finance Assistant Manager or Manager'.


As an Assistant Manager or Manager of Corporate Finance, you will play a vital role in optimizing the financial performance of our operating subsidiaries and supporting key financial decisions. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, assessing investment opportunities, and collaborating with various departments to align spending with company goals. Additionally, you will assist in managing the company's capital structure, fundraising, and financial risk.


Responsibilities:

1) Financial Performance Oversight:

  • Prepare and maintain a KPI and financial dashboard to monitor ongoing performance.
  • Analyze historical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), financial data, and relevant ratios for operating subsidiaries to identify trends and provide insights to the CFO and CEO.

2) Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the company's annual budget and identify the variance, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with department heads to monitor spending and take necessary actions to maintain budget adherence.

3) Investment Opportunity Evaluation:

  • Conduct due diligence on potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and other investment opportunities.
  • Analyze financial data and market trends to determine the feasibility and profitability of investment options.

4) Capital Structure and Cash Management:

  • Oversee the company's cash management, including forecasting cash needs and investing excess cash.
  • Manage cash balances to ensure efficient utilization of funds.
  • Collaborate with the CFO to optimize the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing strategies.

5) Investor Relations Support and Management Reporting:

  • Compile monthly reports from relevant department and prepare the management report to the shareholders.
  • Assist the CFO for the fundraising activities which includes preparing pitch decks, financial models, manage the workstreams of due diligence process with internal and external stakeholders.

6) Other Ad-Hoc Tasks:

  • Work closely with senior management in developing and executing business strategies.
  • Provide key financial analysis to support decision-making during strategic planning sessions.


Requirements:

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Real estate industry knowledge: While not always required, knowledge of the real estate industry, including trends and regulations, is highly preferred in this role.
  • Professionalism: The Assistant Manager or Manager must maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive financial information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, or related roles for 4-6 years.
