Executive recruitment consultant Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a Multinational FMCG Company. Our respected client is seeking for an Consumer and Market Insights Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Primary Responsibilities
• Utilize deep human insights and understanding to assist the consumer business in making strategic and tactical decisions.
• Develop analytics solutions to optimize business planning and resource allocation.
• Provide category forecasts and identify market/channel trends to shape the future portfolio of the business.
• Create an effective research plan within the allocated budget to have maximum impact on the business.
• Extract insights from large data sources such as retail, home panel, and brand equity data, and connect the dots across different sources to provide comprehensive insights for the business.
• Collaborate with research agencies to determine appropriate solutions for business inquiries and enhance market research capabilities to stay ahead.
• Regularly inform stakeholders about performance, trends, and growth opportunities in an agile manner.
• Coordinate with various teams and individuals across different levels, including marketing, sales, franchise, and local-regional teams, to ensure consistent external perspectives.
• Foster relationships with markets in Southern Asia to establish a cross-market learning plan.
• Take ownership of reporting key reports, metrics, and insights, ensuring their quality and accuracy.
• Lead all research projects, including marketing mix optimization, forecasting, consumer qualitative and quantitative studies, brand health tracking, and social listening.
• Promote the principles of brand growth, such as mental availability, physical availability, and prototypicality, within the business context.
Qualifications:
• Candidates should have 6-8 years of experience in FMCG analytics and insights, with a strong understanding of the Indonesian market.
• A bachelor's degree in business, statistics, mathematics, or engineering is required, and a master's degree would be beneficial.
• Proficiency in working with Nielsen and Kantar datasets, and a comprehensive understanding of data structures, is essential.
• Prior experience in managing marketing mix modeling studies, optimization projects, and forecasting is necessary.
