Kudanil Explorer is looking for new Chief Steward to join the hospitality team.
Chief steward
Primary Responsibilities:
· Maintain inventory and supplies of all necessary cocktails, snacks, bar supplies, sodas, mixers, meals service items and table service. Manage costs to stay within Kudanil budget.
· Manage wine and liquor inventories and maintain orderliness in areas where wine and liquor stores are kept.
· Supervises the storage of all supplies, equipment, and provisions used by non-cooking kitchen (bar and beverages)
· Maintain stocks of toiletries, towels, bed linens, blankets, and all other supplies for guest cabins.
· Keep records of toiletries, towels, bed linens, and all other supplies for guest cabins.
· Keep records and account.
· Maintain orderliness and cleanliness in all F&B services area.
· Supervise and directs activities workers who assist in serving meals, keeping F&B areas clean and stocked, managing the bars, managing off ship catering.
· Oversee all meal service and woks closely and Chef and cruise director to ensure high quality meal presentation.
· Ensure that cabin service is carried out in a smooth , correct and timely manner, according to company standards.
· Arrange in land transportation
· Arrange for off ship dining experiences
· Ensure that bottled water, or other beverages and foods are offered and available for guest use during excursions.
· Oversea the housekeeper and their duties such as cleaning and stocking bathrooms and other commons areas on the vessel as well as guest cabins
· Inspect passenger area for cleanliness
· Training, supervision and inspection of stewards and housekeepers to ensure the company’s high standards of cleanliness and passenger service is maintained.
· Ensure that correct working practices and personal hygiene standards are observed by all service staff in accordance with company policy
· Manages the daily roster to ensure that all meal periods are covered and staff get appropriate breaks and time off.
