What You Will Be Doing

• Monitor the monthly breakage and how to minimize breakage.
• Monitor the use of chemical and cleaning supplies
• Ensure all colleagues adhere to all safety practice requirement.
• Ensure all equipment is in working order and report any items in need of repair.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work closely with the Chef, Director of Banquets/Catering to anticipate guest needs.
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues
• Risk Assessment Self Audit responsibility
• Prepare monthly reports on shortages in china/silverware and equipment and requisition replacements as required while following budget guidelines.
• Follow and ensure that all colleagues follow safety procedure requirement.
• Order and control all inventory of cleaning compounds.
• Supervise and maintain the sanitation of kitchen equipment and other areas assigned.
• Ensure all banquet event orders are reviewed and ensure proper set-ups are in place.
• Lead and manage the Stewarding team in all aspects of the department and ensure standards are followed.
• Ensure colleagues have a complete understanding and adhere to the stewarding’s related to safety.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
• Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Previous leadership experience in a Stewarding department required
• Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Indonesia required
• University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Service oriented with an eye for details
• Self-motivated and energetic
• Good presentation and influencing skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
