Job Description

Our company seeks a skilled and experienced Boat Manager to join our team. As the Boat Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining the smooth operations of our boat, and overseeing the crew and staff.


Responsibilities:

  • Payment Collection: Collect payments from customers, process transactions, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding payment collection.
  • Updating Calendar: Maintain and update the boat's calendar, including reservations, bookings, and availability. Coordinate with customers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth scheduling and avoid conflicts.
  • Greeting Guests Upon Arrival: Welcome and greet guests as they arrive at the boat, providing them with a warm and friendly introduction to their boating experience.
  • Overseeing the Crew and Staff: Supervise and provide leadership to the boat crew and staff members. Delegate tasks, ensure company policy and procedure adherence, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Overseeing Maintenance of the Boat: Monitor and coordinate maintenance and repairs of the boat, ensuring it is in top condition and complies with safety standards. Collaborate with technicians and vendors as needed.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Interact with customers, answer inquiries, and provide excellent customer service throughout their boating experience. Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and effectively.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the boating or hospitality industry.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate calendar management and timely maintenance.
  • Proficient in computer applications for maintaining records, managing calendars, and handling financial transactions.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations and customer complaints professionally and solution-oriented.
  • Knowledge of boating regulations and safety procedures is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to oversee and motivate a team effectively.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
