Our client is a hospitality business in Bali, Denpasar - Indonesia

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts with suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices, as well as experience in a variety of industries.

Responsibilities:

• Manage existing contracts and ensure that they are being fulfilled in accordance with the agreed-upon terms.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that are cost-effective and meet the company's needs.
• Provide training and support to procurement staff.
• Work with other departments to ensure that the company's procurement needs are met.
• Monitor the procurement process to identify and address any potential problems.
• Source new suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best possible terms.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in a variety of industries.
