About The Role

bababos is now looking for an aspiring talent with business development and strategic partnership background to fill a BD & Partnership - Polymer & Chemical East Java Area position. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in supply chain, business development, strategic partnership or merchant acquisition in Polymer & Chemical Industry. In this job, the candidate will be responsible for supplier acquisition and supplier partnership functions of the company also responsible for develop a network of suppliers to attract new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Using data analysis and market research to identify opportunities for new suppliers partnerships
• Attend industry events and quarterly conferences and trade shows
• Managing long-term relationships with suppliers in order to increase sales opportunities and customer loyalty
• Working with suppliers to develop business opportunities in existing markets or developing new markets for products or services
• Identifying potential suppliers based on business needs, goals, and current partnerships
• Analyse market trends and recommend changes to suppliers strategies based on analysis and feedback

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's (or above) degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Science.
• Have a good understanding of market analysis, supplier sourcing and industry analysis.
• At least 2 years of experience in sales, supply chain, procurement, business development, strategic partnership or merchant acquisition in Chemical Industry.
• Willing to be placed in East Java area
• Have both excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of data analysis and supplier management.
