Battery Pack Production Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Battery Pack Production Engineer (or more senior) to join our production engineering team in Indonesia. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing production process and overseeing the production of battery packs, ensuring that they meet quality standards and customer requirements.

Job Requirement

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues
• Manage the production process for battery packs, including cell selection, assembly, and testing
• Ensure that battery packs meet quality standards and vehicle requirements
• Create and maintain documentation for production processes and procedures
• Develop and implement production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase reliability
• Ensure that production processes and procedures are in compliance with industry and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement process improvements

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in traction battery pack production and process engineering
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of battery technologies and battery pack assembly processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Work Environment

This is a full-time role based out of our office/ factory in Jakarta, Indonesia, with occasional travel to Singapore headquarters and remote coordination with our China office.
