MISSION

• Deploy and support the locally managed IS solutions
• Design and implementation of basic assigned production process modifications and engineering projects to increase plant safety, quality, efficiency, reduce variable costs, and provide technological guidance and assistance in equipment operation and maintenance
• Deploy and support ITS projects validated at Corporate, Division or Plant level
• Manage day-to-day operations of Information Systems used on site, on all technical aspects: infrastructure, networks, telephony, servers, backup & security, computers, software solutions and users support…
• Responsibility for assigned projects and support to various areas of the plant's facilities and/or production processes to ensure appropriate facilities, equipment and tooling are available and ready to use
• Secure information in terms of confidentiality, integrity and availability

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibility 1 - Automation

• Upgrade equipment to improve maintenance repair time
• Optimize Robot programs/Teaching to improve processes
• Integrate production tracking systems to assist production in data collection
• Maintain a database of all equipment programs and passwords
• Upgrade PLC programs for new hardware installation/modification
• Maintain POKA-YOKE system in production line
• Assists production, IT and maintenance in isolating complex manufacturing issues whether it is in process, material, or machine functionality related.
• Integrate new technology to improve processes (cameras, sensors, etc.)
• Assist program team in the install and signoff of new processes and equipment
• Any assignments by superiors
• Rewrite equipment programs for line balancing per the Production and Industrial Engineers

Responsibility 2 – IT System

• Manage Information System Projects for the site
• Participate in BU IT topics and contribute to IT System Engineer meetings
• Deploy and support locally managed IS solutions (Division solutions or local solutions validated by Division)
• Plant Network and PES management and maintenance
• Monitor and maintain plant timekeeping and telephone systems
• Lead or contribute to IT/IS projects on his site, coming from Corporate / Division or local
• Help Desk response and customer service  Information Technology asset reporting – workstation identification, installation, inventory, maintenance and local lease projects management
• Implement Corporate and Division IT standards and recommendations
• Database and server maintenance and management
• Manage the information security risk assessment and treatment plan. Manage and report information Security incidents
• Monitor and maintain plant shipping system(s)
• Organize the following activities:

Safety and Compliance

• Maintain or minimize OHS Hazard/Risk and Environmental impact from any activities perform in the premise.
• Work complying with the OHS Hazard and Environmental policy, rules and work instruction strictly.
• Report when abnormal case on OHS Hazard and Environmental issue is found.
• Give suggestion for OHS Hazard and Environmental improvement.
• Participate in the programs / activities concerning OHS Hazard and Environment improvement.

Profile Requirements

Personal Background

• 5 years or more demonstrated engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with designing, programming & troubleshooting PLC, HMI & robotic, network
• BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronic ) or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Network Protocols:- Profibus, Profinet,
• Industrial network/ Infrastructure
• Ability to use, Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• OS-window, Basic necessary software,
• Experience with vision systems and data collection technologies (RFID, barcode readers, printer)
• Basic cyber security system
• Knowledge of PLC:- Siemens S7
• Experience with Ethernet/IP and other industrial networks
• Kn owledge of Robot programming (ABB or FANUC)
• Knowledge HMI Screen design, Tagging, Interconnections
