Job Description

We are looking for a Network Engineer in Indonesia to perform the below task for 2 months. We need someone who has a good experience in installing/racking of network devices


Location: Bekasi, Indonesia

Onsite Support

Language: English and Indonesian


Start Date: Sep 2023

End Date: Nov 2023


Scope of Work


Stage -I :


  • Power Availability
  • Patch panel connectors (LC-LC or LC-SC)
  • Verify connections of connected switch ports with LUS
  • Patch panel mode (single or Multimode)
  • Physical assessment
  • Labelling of each switch port
  • Assisting Access Point configuration by giving physical (location) assistance to check the APs status
  • Fiber connectors at Core switches and Access switches (LC-LC or LC-SC)
  • Rack space
  • Connected Fiber cables mode (single or Multimode)
  • Length of cable from all access switches in Meters towards core switch and find out patch panel if any


Stage -II :


  • Lay down cabling from Access switches to core Switches if needed (with the help of Stage-I result)
  • Physical cabling for MGMT connectivity
  • Rack/Stack of Devices
  • Console connection to remote team (for initial SW configuration)
  • POST
  • Staging
  • Installation of Network Module and SFP
  • Provision of cabling from OLD core to New core


Stage -III : Cut-Over


  • Unplug switch port from OLD core Switch and Plug in New Core switch.
  • Labelling for newly migrated Uplinks / connections.
  • Plug New fiber cables to new core (Provisioned in Stage-II).
  • Console connection to remote team (For testing and checking)
