Self-motivated and capable of working independently, corporate tax accountants also work well in groups. They take responsibility for a company’s crucial and, often, confidential financial decisions, so they must be able to handle sensitive financial matters with integrity. Corporate accountants fall under the management division of accounting. They work with companies of all sizes to manage their records and analyze financial information. A corporate tax accountant analyzes complex tax planning scenarios and communicates the findings effectively.

As an accounting and tax intern, you would be responsible for gathering the company’s and client’s financial data and filing annual tax returns. Prepare the day-to-day preparation and lodgments of local tax filings, maintain related documents, and support internal/external parties related to tax inquiries. You would also be expected to devise strategies to optimize the client’s tax obligations, respond promptly, and manage a complete cycle of error-free operations independently. They also keep up to date with current tax procedures and developments, as well as assist companies during internal audit processes. This involves reviewing financial statuses and operating systems to ensure that businesses adhere to corporate procedures. Accounting and tax also analyze a company’s structure and determine a budget accordingly. They get to make critical decisions as part of a corporate management team. Provide assistance in other areas related to the job as required.

Requirements:

• Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines;
• Know the process of performing corporate tax reconciliation and filing VAT/WHT/CIT returns;
• Domicile in South Jakarta or near area (preferable)
• Have good work ethics & proactive in a demanding situations;
• Have a high eagerness to learn about Bookkeeping, Management Advisory and Investment.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills;
• Able to work on-site (WFO) at our office location in South Jakarta, Indonesia (a must)
• Familiarity with XERO and Jurnal.id accounting software is a plus;
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment and giving the extra mile;
• Have good work ethics, good analytical skills & proactive in demanding situations;
• Effective oral and written communication skills;
• Final year or Fresh Graduate from reputable university who has an interest in learning about in Finance / Accounting / related fields, preferably to have the Certification as Tax Consultant (BKP) and/or Registered Tax Court Attorney;
• Able to communicate using English fluently written and spoken;
• Willing to commit to at least 3 months of Internship;
• Know the process of preparing, compiling and financial statements reporting;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
