Microbiology Lab Technician Jobs

Educational background in microbiology, biology, chemistry, or a related field with a specialization in Microbiology.

Prior work experience as a microbiology analyst in the food industry.

Skilled in using computer software, including Microsoft Office.

Basic sensory evaluation abilities, capable of distinguishing fundamental tastes and smells.

Knowledge of SAP system operations.

Prepare sampling equipment and analysis equipment aseptically.

Project management skills with demonstrated success in leading complex, multi-disciplined projects through commercialization

Bachelor degree in Scientific Field required, knowledge of polymer chemistry a plus, or equivalent technical experience accepted.

5+ years of application formulation required with preferred experience in UV formulating of wood coating and flexible packaging

Experiences of working in laboratory environment for formulating preparation, material characterizations, coating application and feasibility demonstration

Independent worker - lab formulation & project development skills, fast learner, action oriented with "can do" attitude

Deliver technical support to internal and external customers, fulfilling unmet needs by recommending existing products or creating new solutions as required

Undertake other responsibilities delegated by Operation Manager and Mud Manager

Have a minimum of 2-year working experience in a related field (fresh Graduates welcome to apply)

Successfully completed training and further education in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a relevant subject

Knowledge of MS Office products

Essential Experience, Skills And Knowledge

Ensure and manage the implementation compliance of ISO 17025 technical requirement for documentation, technical record and other specific technical requirements

Ensuring, managed and checking the performance of the instruments before used and during the testing process

Manage stock inventory of testing equipment, consumables and the chemicals used on the laboratory

Minimum bachelor’s degree (S1) Chemistry / Applied Chemical /Science Background with 1-2 years experience in laboratory

Computer Skill (MS Office, excel)

Has minimum 8 years experience in Oil / Gas / Petrochemical / LNG industry

Willingness to live in remote area

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering (Master's degree preferred)

Familiar in the process of lab testing and gas sampling

Has familiarity / understanding in ISO 17025
