Ground Transport Data Analyst Jobs

Prior experience with applied statistics, experimental design (there will be a technical phone screen to test you on this!)

Perform exploratory data analysis using SQL and R/Python and present interesting findings to business stakeholders to drive business and strategic decisions

Build self-serve data products such as dashboards (GDS & Tableau) and tables to reduce time to insights

Perform advanced analytics when needed (such as building machine learning models using R/Python)

Proven ability to recognize business needs and ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders including PMs, business and operations

Balance attention to detail with swift execution

Strong knowledge of transportation, logistics, and supply chain concepts, with 2+ years of experience in transportation planning, logistics, or related fields.

Experience analyzing and intrepreting data, attention to detail, and ability to manage time and multiple tasks effectively

Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to explain complex analysis and data solutions to a non-technical audience

Experience in transportation electrification, route planning and optimization and public transport is a plus

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related field

Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS) and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

Graduated from business or engineering majors (e.g. Finance / Management / Industrial Engineering / Mathematics / Statistics) from a reputable university

1-2 years, preferably in management consulting, corporate strategy, financial advisory, or commercial management role, or fresh graduate from a top-tier university

Must have strong critical and analytical thinking skills

Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in an international team environment

Review competitors' movement and anticipate these to meet financial metrics/ objectives

Benchmark competitors' business model for understand where Traveloka is lagging vs. winning - to drive course correct actions

Scraping Price Competitive with competitor per day

To support and participate in the company’s campaign / tactical promotion projects

Join review the task and administration progress on a weekly basis

Proficiency in English both verbal and written

Competency in Microsoft and Google Suites applications especially spreadsheets

Ability to maintain quality across high volumes of work with tight deadlines

3+ years of data role experience (analyst, scientist, or engineer).

2+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, spreadsheet, and R/Python.

1+ years of dashboarding experience with BI or dataviz tools (Tableau, Looker Studio, Domo etc.).

Prior experience in conducting statistical experimentation or A/B testing is a plus.

Prior experience in developing unsupervised/supervised models is a plus.
