Overview Genesys Cloud Engineer III is a highly skilled professional responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions for Genesys customers. The engineer will be responsible for developing and deploying cloud-based solutions, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security. The engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to the cloud-based solutions. Detailed Job Description
• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions for Genesys customers.
• Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the cloud-based solutions.
• Monitor and optimize cloud-based solutions for performance and cost.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of cloud-based solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to customers.
• Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and trends.
Job Skills Required
• Expertise in cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, such as microservices and serverless.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug cloud-based solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and/or DevOps.
• Professional certifications in cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, such as microservices and serverless.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and processes.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices.
Job Experience
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and/or DevOps.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
