Demonstrated expertise in crisis communications and issues management.

Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) in Public Relations, Media Relations, or related field.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, advise and mentor a young team.

In-depth knowledge of local media landscape, journalists, and industry trends.

Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex and high-profile projects.

Proficiency in project management tools and software, and the ability to create and manage detailed project timelines.

Experience in event organization and activation, with the ability to manage logistics and coordinate event execution.

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Media Production, Marketing, or a related field.

Assist in identifying and onboarding external production partners/vendors, evaluating their capabilities and suitability for each project.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on meeting project objectives.

Fluency with digital tools across productivity, conferencing, project management and CRM (e.g. Asana, Zoom, Hubspot and Google Suite or similar)

Market-leading compensation and benefits (50-100 AUD/hr equivalent, based on experience)

Extensive strategic or operational experience in fast-paced and high-growth professional environments

A refined consulting toolkit, including robust financial acumen, presentation development, and fully fluent English-language written and oral communication skills

Previous work experience at an early-stage startup

Consulting experience either at a professional services firm or an in-house advisory team

Have 6 -15+ years experience preferably in a consulting firm / strategic planning / industry specific required
