Lead capital plans and asset management initiatives, including working with owner to maintain or improve property’s market leadership position.

Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.

Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities are used often.

Prepare annual capital, cash flow and sales and marketing plans to accurately forecast budgets and achieve required operating results.

Develop programs that drive improvements in team member engagement and are aligned with the InterContinental brand service behaviors.

Oversee any salary-, disciplinary- or staffing-/human resources-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies.

Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing paperwork and management reports, giving, and receiving instructions, and training.

Work with department managers to develop initiatives to achieve service behavior standards and drive continuous improvement in the guest experience.

Prepare monthly training progress reports and communicate to management team members the previous month’s accomplishments and next month’s training objectives.

Ensure that all course curricula and educational materials are current and of acceptable quality.

Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others
