Job Description of Assistant Banquets Manager The Assistant Banquets Manager is responsible for assisting the Banquets Manager in the planning and execution of all banquet functions. The Assistant Banquets Manager will ensure that all banquet events are executed to the highest standards and that all guests have an enjoyable experience. Job Skills Required

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of banquet operations and procedures
• Knowledge of food and beverage service
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Knowledge of event planning and management

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field
• At least two years of experience in a banquet or hospitality setting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of banquet operations and procedures
• Knowledge of food and beverage service
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Knowledge of event planning and management
• Knowledge of computer systems and software
Job Experience
• At least two years of experience in a banquet or hospitality setting
• Experience in customer service and event planning
• Experience in managing staff and delegating tasks
Job Responsibilities
• Assist the Banquets Manager in the planning and execution of all banquet functions

• Manage staff and delegate tasks
• Monitor banquet operations and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitor food and beverage service and ensure quality standards are met
• Monitor event planning and management
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints
