The Jakarta Post is Indonesia’s most influential English-language newspaper. Established on April 25, 1983, the Post has a vision to lead the creation and development of democratic societies in SEA by consistently promoting openness, pluralism and critical thinking.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create articles and other content for the company's client needs, as requested by the respective division.
• Assist in the design and run new live products such as podcasts, IG Live, etc.
• Conduct research and planning in relation to company and client campaign needs.
• Responsible for running live broadcasts events, especially public webinars and/or offline seminars.

Requirements:

• Able to recognize patterns and the latest trends in the media industry to be translated into content and campaigns.
• Hands-on experience creating digital content (webinars, podcasts, etc.) with a proven portfolio.
• Excellent communication, time management, interpersonal skills, able to multitask and work well under pressure, tight deadlines and on short notice.
• Preferably has a BSc in a marketing or journalism related field. Ability in editing multimedia content is a plus.
• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
• Has at least 2 years of previous work experience as a Writer or content writing-related roles, preferably with excellent storytelling abilities in terms of content creation.
