Warehouse & Fulfillment Supervisor Jobs

A warehouse and fulfillment supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse and ensuring efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. They manage a team of warehouse staff, coordinate logistics, maintain inventory accuracy, and implement process improvements to optimize warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

1. Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of warehouse personnel, including hiring, training, and performance management. Assign tasks, schedule shifts, and provide guidance to ensure a productive and cohesive workforce.
2. Order Fulfillment: Oversee the fulfillment process, including order picking, packing, and shipping, to ensure accurate and timely order processing. Monitor order flow and prioritize tasks to meet customer requirements and service level agreements.
3. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage, organization, and labeling of products in the warehouse. Implement inventory control measures, such as cycle counting, stock audits, and reconciliation, to minimize discrepancies and optimize inventory accuracy.
4. Warehouse Operations: Plan and optimize warehouse layout, storage capacity, and workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity. Implement and enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and operating procedures to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
5. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to schedule and track inbound and outbound shipments. Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with shipping regulations.
6. Technology Utilization: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory tracking software, barcode scanners, and other technology tools to streamline warehouse operations, improve inventory visibility, and enhance order accuracy and efficiency.
7. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, productivity, and labor costs. Analyze data, prepare reports, and identify areas for improvement. Implement corrective actions and process enhancements to optimize warehouse performance.
8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and cost reduction in warehouse operations. Initiate and lead improvement initiatives, such as lean methodologies, 5S, and Kaizen, to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase customer satisfaction.
9. Supplier and Vendor Management: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely replenishment of inventory, resolve any issues related to product quality or delivery, and maintain positive working relationships.
10. Customer Service: Liaise with customer service teams to address order inquiries, resolve customer complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Implement strategies to enhance the customer experience throughout the fulfillment process.

Qualifications

• Having at least 3 years of work experience in the relevant role
• At least poses a bachelor degree from relevant major
• Proven Experience managing warehouse and fulfillment process
• Top-level understanding of all aspects of supply chain processes
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment processes, shipping and receiving procedures, and warehouse safety protocols, is essential. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software is also beneficial
