Video Editor (Yao Fomo Llc)

We are looking for a talented video editor for a rapidly growing educational YouTube channel dedicated to creating high-quality, engaging, and informative content. We believe in the power of visual storytelling and aim to make complex concepts accessible and enjoyable for our diverse audience. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a talented and creative YouTube Video Editor to join our team and help us take our content to new heights.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously iterate and improve our video editing process to increase efficiency and meet tight deadlines
• Edit podcast video
• Keep up-to-date with video editing trends, techniques, and best practices to ensure our content remains fresh and competitive
• Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, engaging, and informative videos for our educational YouTube channel
• Manage and organize video assets, including archiving and maintaining an organized project library
• Edit short form videos for our TikTok channel with engaging text, graphics, and sounds
• Provide regular progress updates to the team and be open to receiving and implementing feedback
• Add graphics, animations, and other visual elements to enhance the educational value and overall quality of our videos
• Collaborate closely with our channel manager to understand creative direction for each video

Requirements:

• Detail-oriented
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
• Knowledgeable in timing, continuity, and other factors important to creating a good video
• 3+ years of video editing experience
• Proven quality work experience as a long form content editor (portfolio required)
• Fluent in English
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• Can manage editing multiple videos at once and deliver drafts promptly within 24-48 hours after assigned
