Brief Description:

This test and validation engineer with be an integral member of a global team dedicated to support the test and validation of the current collector product line for Electric Vehicle (EV) battery packs. To be successful, a CCA test and validation engineer should have the follows

Skills:

 Highly motivated individual with a strong interest in the EV market wanting to be the leader of test and validation within Interplex for CCA and other product lines as required.

 Continuous learner, working to grow Interplex test and validation knowledge base.

 Experience in the automotive market specific to electric vehicles in test and/or design.

 Experience working in a test and validation laboratory developing and following procedures based on global standards.

 Working knowledge of setting up and operating electrical, environmental, and mechanical test equipment

 Other duties as needed to support the business.

Key Responsibilities:

 Be the Global point of contact in relation to test and validation of CCA product line.

 Research global standards and implement test strategies to meet testing requirements.

 Provide input to management on needs for capital equipment as required to perform test and validation to meet global and customer standards.

 Collaborate with Application Engineering personnel to develop test plans in congruence with global standards and ensure product meets or exceeds customer and Interplex specifications.

 Oversee and/or perform testing and validation of CCA product, capture test results, and write test reports.

 Develop and manage programs at 3rd party partners in areas where internal testing is not feasible.

This role may require up to 25% travel regional and international

 A flexible schedule is required to balance communication and partnerships in different time zones

 The primary office will be in Heilbronn Germany and expected to be in the facility.

 Working knowledge of testing for high power, interconnect devices, and environmental requirements. Understanding of necessary test methods including IEC, UL, DIN, and ISO specifications for testing and evaluating interconnect systems.

 Experience developing HALT/HASS/FMVT test protocols and procedures specific to electrical tests.
