Sr Cybersecurity Advisor Jobs

The Senior Advisors will work with governmental organizations to develop cyber security policy and governance structures. The Senior Advisors will provide guidance on creating institutional cyber security governance policies and procedures and assist with the professionalization of the cyber workforce to build cybersecurity capacity.

• Experience working in the Balkans or Eastern Europe region respectively
• U.S. citizen
• 2+ years of experience advising foreign governments or militaries at the strategic or operational levels.
• 2+ years of experience advising foreign governments or foreign militaries on cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Cyber Defense, Global Technology and Development, Information Systems Security, or Digital Forensics; plus 5+ years’ experience working in cybersecurity;
• Experience with organizational design and/or change management.
• Experience supporting the development of strategies, doctrines, policies, or procedures.
• Experience conducting baseline assessments, analyzing gaps, and identifying tailored solutions.

OR

• 4+ years of experience developing strategic-level cybersecurity and cyber defense strategy, policy, or procedures
• Active Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Cyber Defense, Global Technology and Development, Information Systems Security, or Digital Forensics; plus 10+ years of prior professional experience working in cybersecurity
• Have reached, at a minimum, the rank of O-5 in the military or equivalent in a civilian capacity (i.e., FS-02/GS-14 or industry equivalent)
• Prior demonstrated professional experience developing programmatic approaches to complex problem sets
• 2+ years of experience working with senior officials in a foreign government and/or foreign military. Non-resident or intermittent advisory experience may count toward some or all the required two years of prior experience if the advising took place in-person with the foreign government representative(s)
• 2+ years of experience communicating cybersecurity policy and technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders
