Social Media Intern Jobs

We are early stage startup focusing on helping principal, distributors, grocers, and supermarkets to sell their overstock/near-best before/imperfect food which is still definitely edible to consume. We essentially help three stakeholders, (1) suppliers in getting additional revenue, (2) shoppers who can get cheaper yet edible consumable items, and (3) the Planet with less food waste goes into the landfill.

We are looking for a Social Media Intern who will support the team to develop and create content to boost our social media engagement. This intern should be comfortable creating and managing social media accounts (Instagram, Tiktok).

What you'll do

• Identify social content opportunities that drive customers, brandings and communication
• Improve social media experience, create engaged audiences and facilitate organic growth and respond to audiences query in a timely and accurate way via chat or comments
• Write interesting product spoilers or topics to spark engagement with audience
• Work alongside with the founding team to create content, and social media campaign (especially Instagram and Tiktok); from observing trends and references, brainstorming, planning to execution (including schedule and post) that are consistent with the company’s brand identity
• Provide competitive insights and conduct social media listening on daily, weekly and monthly basis

Requirements

• Able to use trending topics to gain engagement on social media
• Super Creative and think out the box
• Agile, able to adapt quickly and have a desire to learn and grow themselves
• A final year student or recent graduate
• Digital savvy with a passion for the digital landscape and keep up with the latest social media trends
• Proficient in speaking and writing with strong copywriting and effective storytelling skill
