Soc Analyst L2 Jobs

Job description:

· Monitor network security events received from monitored servers, and then take appropriate action based on security policy

· Assist customers with security related issues

· Integrate and share information with other analysts and other teams

· Assist Entry-Level SOC analysts to help them build stronger skills

· Monthly SOC Reports

· Perform analysis of log files, includes forensic analysis of system resource access

· Carrying out all activities regarding SOC (Security Operation Centre) policies and SOC (Security Operation Centre) procedures

· Provide Incident Response (IR) support when analysis confirms actionable incident

Job qualifications :

· Minimum D3 in Cyber Securtiy, IT, Information System, Computer Science or related field

· Minimum GPA 2,75 (scale 4,00)

· At least 2 year of working experience as SOC Analyst

· Having good understanding about operating system windows and Unix

· Having good understanding about computer networking (TCP IP, LAN, WAN, VPN)

· Having good literacy about computer security knowledge such as hotfixes, service packs, patches, security templates and configuration baselines

· Having technical knowledge in Java, Perl, Bash and Phyton will be advantage

· Understanding of common network services (web, mail, FTP, etc), network vulnerabilities, and network attack patterns

· Familiar with security assessment tools (NMAP, Nessus, Metasploit, Netcat, etc)

· Having CompTIA Security + Certification, Certified Ethical Hacker Certification, Certified SOC Analyst Certification (any) will be an advantage
