Senior Marketing Communications Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Active media pitching and liaison; establish strong media contacts
• Plan media angles and write press release drafts
• Media tracking and media/social listening
• Co-develop and create monthly newsletter
• Help to develop communications & Public Relations best practices and frameworks to educate portfolio companies and/or portfolio founders
• Organise media-related events
• Source for and manage speaking opportunities for key spokes people in the firm and portfolio companies
• Active tracking and submission for industry and vertical awards for firm and portfolio companies

Key Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in Public Relations and Internal Communications (agency experience preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, report skills – written and verbal
• Manages projects using organizational skills, working with colleagues, vendors, and keeping project leaders apprised of the status
• Good time management and organisational skills adopting a committed approach to providing a high level of quality result
• Able to work independently and function in a dynamic working environment
• Have strong interest in tech and startup world
• The ability to adapt to rapid change, wear multiple hats, and work effectively under pressure and tight timelines
• Good command of both English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Demonstrated professionalism including excellent work ethic, positive attitude and experience communicating with external clients
• Demonstrates knowledge of Public Relations & Communications principles
• Excellent coordination and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze problems and demonstrate critical thinking
