PT Karunia Berca Indonesia, Cilegon, a leading provider of steel structure fabrication services, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated QC Assistant Manager to join our team. The QC Assistant Manager will work closely with the Plant Manager to ensure the highest level of quality control throughout the fabrication process. The successful candidate will have a strong background in steel structure fabrication and quality management.

Responsibilities:

• Review fabrication drawings, welding procedures, and material certifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Review non-destructive testing (NDT) and visual inspections report to verify the integrity of fabricated components.
• Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and certifications.
• Assist the Plant Manager in developing and implementing quality control procedures and policies for steel structure fabrication.
• Coordinate with the fabrication team to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and codes.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Project Managers, and clients to resolve quality-related concerns and provide technical support.
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations related to steel structure fabrication and quality control.
• Train and mentor QC inspectors on quality control processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience in conducting inspections and using NDT methods for steel structures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Certification in relevant quality control methods (e.g., Welding Inspector or Welding Engineer) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and steel material properties.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards,
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in steel structure fabrication, with a focus on quality control.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting fabrication drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, metallurgy, or a related field.
