QA / QC INSPECTOR - DRILLING EQUIPMENT

Requirement:

oAt least graduated D3 education (or higher), majoring in technical discipline especially in petroleum, metallurgy, mechanical, and engineering science.

oMinimum ten (10) years’ experience in oil and gas field production / exploration activities related to QA/QC of materials especially in manufacturing process, heat treatment, NDE, mechanical testing, FAT, assembly of well head, x-mas tree, packer, down hole equipment, casing head spool, drilling equipment and Valve, drilling Bottom hole assembly( Drilling Jars, Mud Motor, Stabilizers, Roller Reamer ).

oHaving broad experience and knowledge in all method of quality control and inspection including all NDT inspection methods and DS-1.

oHaving experience with Drilling Equipment inspection include Receiving Material, Tools/Equipment maintenance inspection, Pre-shipment Inspection, etc.

oCertified ASNT Leve ll / (or equivalent) in UT, MPI, and DPT.

oFamiliar with DS-1, API STD 53, API RP 4G, API RP 7G-2, API-6A, 58, 5CT, 5L, 170, 140, 14A

The Role:

a.Act as the COMPANY representative at the Materials Manufacturer and/or Vendors with respect to all inspection, quality assurance and quality control, and expediting matters

b.To Perform Pre Mobilization QAQC Inspection.

c.To Perform review and company approval of service company quality plans

d.To Perform field inspections for equipment preventative maintenance, inspection and test program

e.To Perform equipment receiving inspection program

f.To Perform quality control and inspection of tubular with threaded connections such as Premium and API connections in accordance with the COMPANY's rules and guidelines

g.To Perform quality control and inspection of drilling, well control, and other sub-surface Materials (wellhead, x-mas tree, packer, down hole equipment, casing head spool, tubular) in accordance with the COMPANY's rules and guidelines including any applicable of international standards

h.To Perform quality control and inspection of all surface Materials in accordance with the COMPANY's rules and guidelines including any applicable of international standards.

i.Provide positive identification through material serial number or cast number in accordance with the COMPANY's rules and guidelines.

j.Conduct workshop/dialogue with COMPANY's representative to discuss issues faced and improvement proposed.

k.Provide professional advice and recommendation for material with quality requirements uncertainties and assist resolution of pending issues immediately

l.To coordinate with CLIENT COMPANY 's contact person.

m.Keep himself available for communication with COMPANY representative.7

n.To issue reports, Inspection Release Note or Non Acceptance Note of materials.

o.To provide a transparent Daily and monthly before and after activity report.

p.To Perform all works in safe manner.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:

• High level of experience in Quality Assurance tools, techniques, and practices

• Knowledge of Quality Control Practices

• Knowledge of drilling industry standards and related equipment manufacturing, rental, assembly and servicing, materials

• Extensive knowledge of drilling and completions.
