Project Procurement Manager Jobs

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Department user to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the Project designed
• Oversight of multiple unit managers, along with 4 team leads to ensure all activities in the procurement department run as scheduled
• Develop and monitor fully resourced and costed project
• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Implement procurement processes and controls into the project and informing all involved in Procurement to deliver optimum impact of cost-optimization potential (Procurement plan, target-costing) and
• Other Procurement targets and to meet requirements relating to deadlines and quality.
• Provide effective leadership to maximize the efficiency of the team by encouraging a supportive and collaborative work environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering, Master Degree is an advantage
• Project Management and Problem Solving – Thorough understanding of managing project
• Minimum 20 years of purchasing and project management experience
• Strong integrity, ownership, and commitment to the role
• Procurement, and Construction (EPC) processes.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English. Able to speak mandarin is a plus
• Familiarity with ERP systems/software
• Capable of working under pressure.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in large projects (involving 5,000-10,000 workers and a project value of over 2 billion USD)
