  • Building a strong relationship with Site/Operational Managers who have the authority to implement the operations transformation in the waste management facility which Delterra assists.
  • Working with local community and other stakeholders to ensure that our program is delivered according to the agreement with the community.
  • Experimenting on and creating analysis (e.g., business cases) on production and potential offtake options that would meet the demand and create opportunities to increase financial performance for TPS3Rs.
  • Coordinating and ensuring synergy of the operational work with other internal workstreams to ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
  • Representing the organization within transformational efforts with partners and community at large.
  • Tracking the facilities' operational and performance and launching corrective actions.
  • Leading the operational transformation across several waste management facilities in the regency and for future scale-up.
  • Building operational capabilities of the team to drive efficient and impactful waste management services, including coaching of junior or other team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental sciences, or relevant education background is preferred.
  • Track record of establishing credibility and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders, from waste workers, local partners, informal waste sector to senior leaders.
  • Professional fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English required (both written and spoken). Fluency in Balinese will be a plus.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in conceptual and analytical problem solving (e.g., distilling themes from interviews, identifying important patterns/discrepancies in data).
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in waste processing and management development, including delivering complex implementation projects with diverse stakeholders and ideally some experience in coordination and relationship management.
  • Experience in leading a small team, delivering engaging and productive presentations & workshops.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a track record of pro-actively creating opportunities and thinking through next steps.
