Production Management Trainee Jobs

Position Summary

You are in charge of ensuring the operations of our production runs smoothly with as minimal amount of resource as possible and minimum waste created during the production process. You will also be held accountable for the standard competency of every individual under the department.

Main Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead expenses, to meet budgetary targets.
• Lead and manage a team of production supervisors and operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistent and efficient production processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure smooth production flow and resolve any operational issues.
• Plan, organize, and oversee the manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production processes and meet production targets.
• Develop production schedules and allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to optimize production output.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in the production area.
• Monitor production performance, analyze production data, and implement improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement production strategies and plans to meet the company's production goals and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.

Required Qualification:

• Education (Degree): S1
• Additional (+) - Experience:
• Education (Major): Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Advanced degree in Operations Management or a related discipline is preferred.
• YoE: Min. 2 Years

Proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles, such as 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.

In-depth knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and execution, including experience with demand

forecasting and capacity planning.
