Job Description

ICS Indonesia is currently seeking experienced multi-skilled specialists to join our rapidly growing and expanding company.

Product manager

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development

·Create unique experiences and/or package tours for current destinations in Bali and elsewhere in Indonesia.

  • Plan inspection trips scheduled for the department to review the quality of existing products or source for new products.
  • Follow-up on all feedback received with regards to product
  • Monitor performance/production of programs including supplier selection, costing, estimated margins and as per standard set, keep in mind for guest satisfaction.

·Provide guidelines for Operations in the form of Operations Manual for tours created and cooperate to succeed a tour operation.

  • Support Operations department in the resolution of any product issues.

·Evaluate the products annually (or anytime depending on situation), and propose for adjustment, continue, or stop.

Product Management

·Organize inspection regularly to products we sell, or potential products, and provide reports in Inspection Blog

  • Regularly conduct product knowledge training sessions internally to another department internally, to ensure products are well understood and sold correctly
  • Ensure products featured in tariff/portfolio of the destinations are updated annually

·Planning inspection trips or fam trips from clients as assigned by the MD

Product Research

  • Develop knowledge of client’s interest/segmentation and pricing strategy
  • To be up-to-date with new products available and continuously look for product innovation and improvements.
  • Be UpToDate about market trends and competitors’ products.

Contracting

  • Supervise Product team for contracting of all suppliers
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers while looking at new ways to maintain the most competitive rates
  • Negotiate best possible hotel and other supplier rates.
  • Ensure transport suppliers meet all specified standard of service

·Get updates on new products launched, and new suppliers for example restaurants, activities, boats etc.


Required skills and qualifications

·At least 4 years of significant experience in Product in supervising or management role

·Proven success in a managerial role

·Strong decision-making ability

·Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills

·Good command of English language both written and spoken

·Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans

·Negotiating experience essential.

·Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable

·Strong working knowledge of operational procedures

·Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business management or related field

·Experience in conducting performance evaluations
