The Opportunity

We are looking for a  People BI Manager  whose main focus areas are providing visibility and insights for people-related issues through Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and SQL, managing data warehouses, building ETL processes, and helping build other tools to optimize the business. This would entail liaising with key stakeholders in the People team, IT team, and other teams to provide the data tools and support necessary for the business.

In This Role, You’ll Get To

• Contribute to design and architectural decisions to improve our platform
• Help educate the broader people team on data products to support better business decisions
• Develop more junior members on the team to become experts in their craft
• Work with senior stakeholders and help guide in the design and development of end-to-end data products to maximize business impact
• Gain an understanding of how a world-class people function operates

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• Previous experience in owning an org, including all managerial responsibilities, and planning for skills and resilience
• Can learn the operations across multiple domains quickly, and be able to leverage that information to offer practical solutions that drive impact for the business
• The ability to influence peers and build strong relationships both within People Team, and externally across the business
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to ask the critical questions that impact the design of our data solutions
• 5+ years of experience with BI & analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, Metabase or similar technologies)
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

It’s Great If You Have

• Experience working with people data
• A global perspective and experience working with diverse cultures, because we have over 100 at Agoda
• Previous consulting experience
• Experience working for a fast paced eCommerce company
• Technical expertise in ETL tools, data warehousing, or data modeling
