Master Maths Trainer Jobs

Seriously Addictive Mathematics Indonesia is looking for a suitable candidate for the role of Maths Master Trainer.

Our centre specialise in Singapore Math enrichment for children aged 4-16 years old.

Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Teach mathematics using the SAM methodology:

• Able to manage, coach and guide students from doing corrections to teaching lesson of the day to ensure that students understand the lesson taught
• Perform administrative duties related to teaching such as marking books and updating student records
• Able to conduct math lessons for 4 to 16 years old

Communication:

• Teachers will maintain regular open communication with parents, through informal meetings, formal meetings, and reports
• Teachers will attend regular learning centre team meetings
• Teachers will keep attendance logs for all classes taught and update centre management with students' progress

Contribute to Student Growth and Retention:

• Minimizing withdrawals - achieved through maximizing the teaching process.
• Prepared to lead and manage centre events and projects.
• Helping children develop social skills and positive classroom behaviour.
• Increasing sign-ups - achieved through maximizing the assessment process.

Train new trainers

• Assist Centre Manager in handling new and existing trainers' training
• E nsure proper training of all new teaching staff and continuous training for existing teaching staff

Requirements

• Degree/diploma level qualifications, preferably in Teaching/Education/Early Childhood/Mathematics
• The ability to work well with co-teachers and centre management.
• Patient, cheerful, encouraging and passionate to work with children to coach and guide them in their learning
• Good, law-abiding citizen with good character and no past history of assault/substance abuse/criminal records
• Must have a strong command of the English Language
• An enthusiasm for teaching young children
• Willing to commit to a 2-years contract
• Have a mature and responsible work attitude to your teaching schedule
• At least 3-5 years of related teaching experience, or similar is a must
• Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Competent in Primary and Secondary Mathematics
• Strong organisation skills and a good team player to cover other Trainers when scheduled Trainers are not able to teach or are on leave
• Willing to learn new skills/methods of teaching
