Maintenance Manager Workshop Jobs

Sandvik is seeking applications from motivated individuals for Maintenance Manager Workshop based in the Freeport – Indonesia located in the Papua Province, Indonesia. The role is responsible for the overall operative and strategic work within the maintenance operations for the production units. Develop the central and operation near maintenance business. The role will also to ensure Sandvik’s Underground Mining equipment meets the Clients required performance levels reliability, availability and reduce operational costs.
Key performance areas

• Ensure all quality and inspection documentation is maintained
• Provide an effective communication link between the workshop staff and the other areas of the business
• Communicate clearly and work with the field service team to resolve issues and provide consistent support in the region
• Ensure the team complete projects in a safe and timely manner in accordance to quality and budget
• All employees and workers are required to conduct themselves in accordance with our EHS Vision to achieve Zero Harm to; our people, the environment we work in, our customers and our suppliers
• Responsible for coordination and allocation of maintenance and repair jobs to workshop team
• Leading, supporting, coaching and developing the team to support growth both for employees and the business
• Management and development of the sandvik workshop
• Provide complete customer satisfaction by maintaining a high quality product and service
• Contribute to achieving revenue and profit gross
• Monitor and control the workshop work in progress
• Liaise with product support teams for items that require review or redesign to improve the product
• Provide guidance and advice to workshop team to help them achieve the goals and business

Your profile

• Computer systems literacy is essential
• Strong focus on safety and capacity to adhere to all site mandatory “Life Saving Rules”
• Ability to lead team of technical personnel
• Ability to provide technical advice and procedure detail to service technicians as required
• In addition to a relevant trade qualification a superior standard of interpersonal skills and leadership qualities which contribute to teamwork are a minimum requirement
• High level of drive and determination to achieve goals and targets set for customer satisfaction
• Highly developed time management and organizational skills
• Report writing skills are desirable
• Provide technical advice and procedure detail to service technicians as required.
• Flexible, self-motivated and demonstrated initiative
• Supervisory experience in a mechanical environment
