: Lower Secondary Teacher (Senior)

LightHouse Academy in Bali, Indonesia is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced lower Secondary Teacher in a senior role to join our dynamic team. We are a micro school dedicated to providing quality education following the Cambridge curriculum. Position: Lower Secondary Teacher (Senior)

Location: Ubud, Bali, Indonesia

Curriculum: Cambridge

Experience Level: Minimum 8 years of teaching experience

Language Requirement: Fluent in English

Preferred Experience: Cambridge or IB curriculum, project-based learning

Salary: 20 million - 25 million IDR per month

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons, incorporating a variety of teaching strategies.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in education, through continuous professional development.
• Design and develop a comprehensive and engaging curriculum aligned with the Cambridge Curriculum.
• Administer assessments, assignments, and examinations to evaluate student performance.
• Provide individualized attention and support to students, assessing their progress regularly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and promote a holistic educational experience.

Requirements:

• Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to design and facilitate project-based learning classes.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Familiarity and experience with the Cambridge or IB curriculum.
• Minimum 8 years of teaching experience in secondary education.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
