These are the following requirements for our open

position as a Lead of Data Analytics

Job Requirement:

• High quality organizational and leadership skills.
• Data analytics related skills is a must. (Python, SQL, etc.)
• Minimum Bachelor’s/Postgraduate/Professional/master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related fields.
• Experience delivering presentations and demonstrations to business and technical audiences.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design.
• Familiarity with Tableau.
• Proven experience as a Data Analytics or Data Science role at least 5 years of in a client-facing/technical solutions consulting.
• Understanding in data management and storage.

Job Responsibility:

Leadership/Supervisory/Support Role:

• Play a mentorship role to key data analytics and warehousing personnel, constantly honing their professional skills, and preparing them for the occupation of his position in future.
• The Head of Analytics is first and foremost a leader within the department overseeing all activities of the data analytics and data warehousing departments.
• Takes initiative in developing a training program meant for improving the departmental heads’ understanding of the use of data, which improves decision-making across the business.
• Additionally defines the business questions that need be answered and defines appropriate analytics models in addition to identifying and readying relevant data sources for analysis.
• Responsible for setting the departmental vision and culture and championing for the use of data in making key business decisions.
• In charge of driving the day-to-day analytical approaches and exploring solutions to problems.

Strategy:

• Plays a leading strategic role where he leads the data analytics and data warehousing departments in strategy development regarding the collection, manipulation, and analysis of data for various business functions/departments such as marketing, sales, operations, among others.
• Endeavors to create new data-driven approaches for the purpose of generating business insights through data analytics, information visualization, and addressing unanswered business issues in a proactive manner.

Analytics:

• Validate, interpret, and create reports and presentations for senior data analytics management, departmental heads/management, and relevant stakeholders.
• Play an analytical role where he develops and applies analytical algorithms and methods where possible with a view of driving and enhancing data systems and streamlining business processes.
• Strives to improve the quality of analytics solutions on a consistent basis.
