Our client is an American internet company that provide a content recommendation business to promotes paid content across their network of brands.

💼 Responsibilities:

• Develop SEO strategies, projects, and processes to grow organic traffic and improve website architecture, constantly striving to better serve our readership
• Take ownership of SEO-related website updates from inception to completion, conducting QA checks to ensure the correct implementation before feature launches
• Work closely with SEO, data, and engineering teams to assess the merits of potential opportunities and implement proposed initiatives successfully
• Regularly review and analyze data in Google Search Console to address issues and uphold website health
• Develop reports to improve our SEO workflow, benchmark goals, and track progress
• Use internal and external tools to dissect algorithm changes and provide actionable feedback
• Actively track and analyze industry competitors to identify emerging trends in technical optimization and site design
• Stay informed and up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in technical SEO to ensure our strategies remain competitive
• Establish and maintain processes for ongoing monitoring of a network of 20 websites, demonstrating strong organizational skills in managing time and resources effectively
• Maintain a high standard of technical SEO practices across our websites and cultivate a meticulously “clean” SEO framework to ensure their long-term health and success
• Conduct technical audits that dive deep into indexing, crawling, and rendering performance, monitor KPIs such as Core Web Vitals and mobile friendliness, and provide recommendations for improvement

🧶 Qualifications:

• Passion and curiosity for the digital world and what makes websites tick
• A solid understanding of technology and the internet
• Comfortability using Excel and Looker Studio for data processing and visualization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Creativity, self-sufficiency, and eagerness to learn
• Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Sistrix, and more
• Advanced knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics
• A deep understanding of technical SEO principles such as XML sitemaps, Schema, redirects, canonicals, pagespeed, and more
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSON, and JavaScript as it pertains to SEO
• Experience with web crawling/scraping tools such as ScreamingFrog
• Experience in a SEO or tech-related role or educational background
