Seven Clean Seas builds Ocean Impact Projects and empowers communities to turn the tide on plastic pollution. We work with businesses and individuals to co-create sustainability initiatives following the Measure, Reduce, Offset and Engage framework. A large part of what we do is engaging with businesses to engage employees in the plastic pollution issue. Notable clients and projects include The Economist, Microsoft, Lo Bros, LUNAR and the FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar amongst others.

The role

You will be working closely with the Head of Marketing to execute and manage campaigns for both B2B and B2C markets.

We are looking for someone who will take ownership of multiple channels and consistently deliver work at the highest standards, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude. The Junior Marketing Manager will be responsible for content writing and needs to deeply understand the tone of voice and brand identity of Seven Clean Seas.

Key responsibilities:

• Support in the execution of marketing strategies like ambassadors programs, event planning and offline activations.
• Understand the basics of CRM Marketing and proactively find solutions to improve communication flows across the sales funnel with the ultimate goal of increasing lead conversion
• Manage and coordinate content creation for our blog, being able to stick to deadlines and follow our editorial calendar
• Write and coordinate content creation across departments for our Social Media channels & newsletters
• Support our Head of Marketing as Account & Project Manager for creative campaigns with partners

Relevant experience

• 2+ years of experience in a relevant Marketing role, preferably in Sustainability or NGO
• Able to write compelling copy expressing our tone of voice.
• Preferably has experience with Hubspot.
• Understanding of inbound marketing, lead generation and landing pages
• Experience in managing multiple social media channels & community management
