Purpose Of The Position
As a Junior Accountant, your main mission will be duties relating to maintaining accurate and current accounts payable and accounts receivable, including data entry, generating statements, and timely communicating with appropriate stakeholders regarding the status of accounts payable and accounts receivable, and related information for identifying past due accounts.
You will be responsible for handling and supporting our accounting department with day-to-day accounting activities. You are expected to have high level of planning and organisational skills with keen eyes for data accuracy. You will be mostly responsible for maintaining accounting records of the receivables and the payables of the company.
Responsibilities

• Reviewing the correct tax invoice and the tax calculation with the Tax Officer
• Preparing weekly payment schedules to ensure payments are made following the agreed terms & conditions.
• Perform vendor reconciliations
• Checking and reviewing three-way-matching of invoices against PO/agreement and delivery order/service acceptance to ensure its validity.
• Managing account receivables (checking and scrutinizing all transactions as per project for invoicing purpose)
• Recording of all valid invoices and receipt as per correct accounts.
• Perform Monthly bank reconciliation and any discrepancies are resolved accurately.
• Perform account receivables reconciliations
• Proper filing of all invoices and receipt (by soft copies and hard copies)
• Registering all coming Invoices from vendors on the invoice register (make sure the correct and validity invoices).
• Preparing for AP/AR process closing

About You

• Experienced with SAP
• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Economic
• Good understanding of tax regulations
• Experienced with AP/AR
• Good knowledge in using accounting software & Excel
• Ideally to have started CPA courses or similar
• Good knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
