Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring its stability, reliability, and security. You will play a crucial role in supporting our technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and virtualization platforms. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network components.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to IT infrastructure design, configurations, and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess infrastructure requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members.
• Design, implement, and manage the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of the IT infrastructure, proactively monitoring and resolving issues.
• Plan and execute infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance the company's IT infrastructure.
• Conduct regular system audits and implement security best practices to protect the company's data and systems.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of server administration, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), networking protocols, and storage systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing complex IT infrastructures.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Project management experience, including the ability to plan, execute, and deliver infrastructure projects within defined timelines.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working as an IT Infrastructure Engineer, with at least 1 year in a senior or leadership role.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and cloud migration strategies.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, VCP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
