Graphic Designer Intern Jobs

Algoritma Data Science School's marketing department provides top-notch content to its audience through various channels such as events, webinars, and digital content, which includes social media posts, articles, and e-books. While some of our workshops come with a price tag, the majority of our content is free. Our aim is to help our audience understand the value of learning data science and how it can revolutionize their work.

We are currently seeking a Graphic Design Intern to assist us in delivering high-quality content. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced designers to create various graphic design materials, such as logos, brochures, advertisements, website designs, and social media graphics, that are visually appealing, engaging, and effectively convey the desired message to the target audience.

Responsibilities:

• Present design and video ideas to clients and stakeholders in team meetings.
• Create product explainer, promotional, and advertisement videos.
• Produce and edit videos, including motion graphics, animation, and sound design.
• Edit videos and other visual content as needed.
• Contribute to the development of brand identity and marketing strategies for graphic design and video production.
• Proofread work to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Conduct research to stay current with the latest design and video trends.
• Manage all aspects of producing printed and visual materials, including motion graphics, brochures, pamphlets, posters, infographics, fact sheets, slides, exhibits, promotional items, and social media images.
• Prepare designs and files for print, websites, and social media.
• Ensure that web files meet web content accessibility standards.
• Develop layouts, mock-ups, and prototypes for print and digital media, including video storyboards and animatics.

Qualifications:

• A strong portfolio showcasing previous design and video work and projects.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Understanding of video production, editing, and post-production processes.
• Familiarity with design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
• Familiarity with video codecs and file formats.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
• Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.
• Ability to work with audio and sound design.
