Furniture Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Quality Assurance Control Specialist with proven experience in the Furniture Industry. This position requires a deep knowledge of furniture construction and calculation of the resistance of different materials. But above all a selective approach focused on delivering a quality product.

This person will work together with all the QCs and the head of production, reporting directly to the CEO.

Main Tasks (among others):

·Supervise the production of furniture in all their steps.

·Review the existing processes and procedures, with the aim of improving them.

·Support the implementation of new internal control processes and procedures.

·Evaluate the resistance of the constructions. Not only for wood, but for different types of materials such as iron, stone, etc.

·Prepare periodic reports of Quality to the Direction.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Ability to read and understand the planimetry of the furniture through tools such as AUTOCAD, etc.
• A degree in mechanical engineering is a plus.

• Microsoft Office
• Indonesian and English language
• Experience working with quality furniture for export
• At least 5-year of experience in similar positions
