Yume in Canggu is the perfect spot for you. Yume’s vision is to challenge and disrupt the Frozen

Yogurt market here in Bali and beyond. Frozen Yogurt really started in the 1980’s in America, and the standard colorful Froyo shops seen back then are still dominating the industry today. At Yume,

FROYO is the hero of our shop of course, but we acknowledge that in a group of friends or family, it may be an ice cold tap beer on a hot day, or a delicious dark roasted coffee that suits the mood.

With your help, we will curate a following that meets the needs of the surfer looking for a protein filled FROYO bowl before a 6AM surf, and also a place to set up your laptop and work, or the best place to meet after a long day for a cocktail. Yume is very much a froyo shop; but also one with ice cold tap beers, amazing coffee from award winning baristas, and a place for incredible music and vibe.

The surprise of our café is the music, the modern design, and the vinyl listening room on the 2nd floor; which will be a calm, cool place to enjoy the afternoon; but also will become that not-so- secret speakeasy that hosts DJ nights; as we will also have a full liquor license.


Responsibilities

The Yume manager will be responsible for managing the shop with passion, integrity and knowledge while promoting the culture and values of Yume. The manager will be a problem solver with strong work ethics and leadership skills. The manager will also perfume all Yume lead shift and server job responsibilities as necessary.

  • Communicate with customers to receive feedback and manage complaints
  • Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service; ensure all team members engage guests to understand the guest’s needs and exceed the guest’s expectations.
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • Organize and supervise all staff shifts
  • Maintain a positive work environment for employees and guests.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with proper health and safety regulations.
  • Discuss new product varieties with production.
  • Identify and delegate responsibilities to Yume’s staff to ensure objectives are met and excellent customer service is achieved.
  • Regularly review product quality
  • Responsible for training and development of new employees; train and coach staff on guest services principles and practices



Qualifications

  • Indonesian citizen or Foreigner
  • Perfect written and verbal English communication skills
  • Must be confident in speaking to groups and individuals
  • Quick thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Outstanding leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated and solution oriented.
  • Proven experience as a F&B Manager or in a similar role
  • Well-groomed and professional appearance
  • Understanding and appreciation for Sustainability and Social Impact
  • Familiar with POS systems
