Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of food and beverage staff, setting performance goals and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to maintain high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the culinary team in menu planning and development, ensuring a diverse and appealing selection of offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food and beverage costs to achieve financial targets.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new techniques, and best practices to continuously improve the food and beverage operations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to promote and maximize revenue opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management, cost control, and sanitation standards.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff and customers.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of financial management and the ability to analyze financial reports and data.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
