Business Context And Main Purpose Of The Job

The incumbent will support in executing end to end financial business initiatives, processes, and operations in both Local Managed Indonesia and Unilever Asia Private Limited Indonesia:

The Purpose Of The Role Is To

• Work closely with operating company stakeholders across various functions - commercial, finance and operation, on business / forecast alignment and cascading
• Ensure Finance operation and Reporting processes are followed by the distributors on time and in full
• Support in executing End to End Internal administrative Unilever International (UI) processes including Forecasting, budgeting management, claim, accounts receivable (AR), pricing and Distributor reporting system

Key Responsibilities

Finance management

• Summarize budget utilization every quarter and convert in Optimising Promotional Sell Out/Internal order creation that is assigned within category.
• Support on quarterly Motivate Advocate Protect (MAP) submission for Seeding Business
• Prepare sales deal documents based on Business Development Agreements and circulate to customers, and work with admin on archiving signed documents
• Analysis on Total Trade Spend for business to make decision (Return on Investment on promotions)
• Stimulate Profit and Loss by brands on quarterly basis for Unilever Indonesia
• Monitor claim process, work customer development team to make sure distributor submit claims timely
• Budget Monitoring
• Support Business Development on Profit and Loss simulation and get approval from Business Development Director
• Budget planning following up budget agreement with Unilever Indonesia, make sure transferred on system and complete until Optimising Promotional Sell Out/Internal order creation (Total Trade Spend, Brand Marketing Investment/Cash Management Services)

• Ensure Maximum Overdue Target @5% all time
• Work with Business Development Managers on following up on Overdue payments
• Review Distributor Bank Guaranty
• Account Receivable Tracking
• Maintain the Distrbutors AR ledger clean by knock off all the payment and claims received
• Ensure orders get credit release from finance team

• Provide pricelist update based on calendar cotton update and share to Distributor regularly, including sanity check for active & non active Stock Keeping Unit (SKU)
• Ensure pricing set up for Unilever International Products is done with ULI
• Price Management
• Monitoring price increase trend and share to Business development manager for review
• Comparing pricelist with the key competitors for maintain Distributor competitiveness

• Ensure clear tracking on actual vs forecast to highlight on risk when arise to all concern stakeholder
• Provide monthly update to each Business Group (BG) Stakeholder on performance highlights
• Forecasting Management
• Bimonthly reporting on Sales vs target for total Indonesia business
• Ensure timely submission of Hyperion Forecast accordingly to guideline provided

Customer Management

• Support in developing and implementing of new Finance processes and procedures for effective and efficient team operations. Including on boarding distributor on claim process and handling

Manage Internal UI Processes

• Support Business Development Manager Indonesia
• Key Champion for SAP processes on FI Module

Process Management

• Key process points contact owner to resolve all SAP master data concern pertaining to Price and Customer Master

Key Requirements

• Expert in SAP FI Module
• Ability to operate on a cross-national scale and develop remote management skills
• Finance business partnering skills
• 5+ Years Prior have experience work in Unilever Indonesia
• 5+ years of business experience, preferably cross-functional specialise in Finance Operations Management
• Ability to stick to the role as outlined and not to be dispersed by non-core local activities
• Self-confident integrity is a must, as the difficulties of the job will test incumbents regularly on their values and they will be often carrying difficult messages to their business partners and key customers.
• Ability to seize the big picture and to deep dive into details when necessary
